Originally released in 1970, the Minimoog Model D was the world's first portable synthesizer and served as the archetype for all electronic keyboards that followed. While the original sound engine and audio signal path remain unchanged, the Minimoog Model D 2022 includes a number of popular functional modifications that expand the sonic capabilities of this legendary instrument. These modifications include a dedicated analog LFO with triangle and square waveforms, a premium Fatar keyboard with velocity and after pressure available via the top-panel CV jacks with integrated potentiometers, MIDI integration, and a mixer feedback modification that allows the Minimoog Model D to overdrive and scream with the turn of a simple knob. And, for the first time ever, the Minimoog Model D now features a spring-loaded pitch wheel with a center deadband.
